According to the a post in Reddit, the images were found in a Romanian listing on online marketplace OLX. The seller claimed that he was selling yet unannounced Moto G5 Plus.
Although the listing has been removed from the site, the images were uploaded imgur by a Redditor named ‘gutzeit’. The images look legit and feature an iterative design upgrade on the current generation of Moto G devices.
The device seems to be running a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, something every other device in this price range is powered by, including the highly anticipated Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Other details includes 4GB RAM, 32 GB storage, 3,080 mAh battery with a 5.5 inch 1080p display and 13 -megapixel rear camera.
The device in the leaked images appears to be running Android 7.0 Nougat. Additionally, in 2016, renders of a similar device appeared 9to5google, which was considered to be the latest generation of Moto X. Lenovo, the manufacturers of Moto phones, didn’t introduce a Moto X in 2015, rather introduced new series called Moto Z.
The leaked images and additional information clearly indicate that Lenovo prioritizes the mid-range market with their Moto devices.
