You must be wondering what could be the possible solution. Well, the solution lies in drilling a headphone jack into an iPhone 7. So, do you have a drilling machine at home? If you have one, you can fix your problem.
You might ask, “Are you kidding me?” And the answer is yes. Actually a prankster posted a video on YouTube about how you can drill a ‘heaphone jack’ into an iPhone 7. The video was posted on TechRax called ‘Secret Hack To Get Headphone Jack on the iPhone 7’.
However, this video is only a joke. You don’t need to actually do it to your new iPhone. Its intention is to mock Apple after it launched the new-generation iPhone earlier this month in an event in San Francisco. The new iPhones have wireless headphones instead of headphone jacks.
But now the problem is that people have taken this prank seriously. The video has been viewed more than 9 million times at the time of writing this story. If you read the comments shared below the video, you will come to know that people have actually drilled holes into their iPhones making them useless. Many users have commented that they drilled their new iPhones and ruined them completely. They wrote that they have made no mistake while drilling the phone the way it was conveyed in the video, but it’s not working well.
Dear iPhone 7 users,
There is no other way to listen to music if you have bought a new iPhone. You either have to buy wireless AirPods, or you need to insert your headphones into an adapter every time you want listen to music.
DO NOT drill a hole into it for God’s sake!
