The messenger lets you share images, your location, in the text messages; you can even add several recipients and open chat windows with several people at the same time. Each conversation is then kept in a bubble which you can conveniently move around on your device’s screen.
You can also configure Facebook Messenger to receive sound and vibrating alerts every time you receive a message, and even respond via normal text message (phone to phone) if the person you want to talk to doesn’t have Facebook. Thanks to this app you’ll b able to communicate with your friends more quickly, and from anywhere, at any time. However, many people are clueless about how to be logged out of Facebook Messenger. Some may want to log back in with a different account, or didn’t like the experience.

Step 1: Go to the settings menu.
Step 2: Scroll down to look for ‘Apps’ option and tap on it.
Step 3: You will see a list of all apps installed on your device. Scroll down to find ‘Messenger’.
Note: In case, you have Google’s Messenger app installed, look for its icon to identify the app.
Step 4: Now tap on Facebook Messenger.
Step 5: Go to the storage menu.
Step 6: You will now see two options – ‘Clear data’ and ‘Clear Cache’. By clicking on clear data, you can successfully logged out from the Facebook messenger app.
Now a short-cut to log out of Facebook Messenger:
Step 1: Tap and hold the Facebook messenger’s app icon on the home screen. Bring the icon near to the ‘Edit’ option or ‘Info’ option. If you find the ‘info’ option instead of ‘Edit’, skip the next step.
Step 2: If you have ‘Action Launcher 3 Plus’ installed, tap on the ‘I’ icon.
Step 3: Go to the storage menu and click on ‘Clear data’ just as you did when navigating through the settings in the previous section.
You are now logged out of Facebook messenger.
