Time can really tie people together. But we all know that if you feel as though there is nothing substantial keeping you connected, it is not right to stick to it. However, letting go is never easy as our mind is trained to focus more on negative emotions than register the positive ones. When life knocks you down, it’s virtually impossible to start over. Instead, we want to nurse our wounds and cry in our misery. But what is the point of going on and on with a hurt or pain caused by a bad relation or a tragedy?
True, when you are hurt by someone you love and trust, you might become angry, sad or confused. But if you dwell on hurtful events or situations, it can lead to grudges filled with resentment and vengeance. In the end you might find yourself swallowed up by your own bitterness.
